Finish it yourself decks!

    If you are interested in building part of your deck yourself then you're in the right place. Sunburst will do as little as layout and dig your post holes for you. Why would you hire Sunburst to just dig your holes when you could buy a hand post hole digger (you'll need a spade bar also) or rent a power digger from your local rental store? Besides the fact that you and a friend will waste the better part of a day there's a good chance if you hit a root or rock the power digger can hurt you or your friend who might sue. The best reason however is that there is actually more involved than just digging some holes. The proper design & layout of your deck holes is very important or you will be redigging your holes or trying to pull concreted posts once you get ready to frame your deck. Of course the best option is to let Sunburst do all the hard part which includes layout, design, dig holes, set posts, beams, joists and facias. This leaves just the top boards, hand rails, and steps. Some also have us build the steps and we can even arrange for the delivery of your complete lumber package to finish your deck.
